Looking back on our 25th Anniversary Celebration – truly a day to remember!
Our Kingsley 25th Anniversary Celebration and Care Awards were a fitting way to recognise the amazing journey we have all been part of.
The event, hosted by television presenter Gabby Logan and ITV Anglia news anchor David Whiteley, took place at Kesgrave Hall near Ipswich on 25th September, the month Kingsley was launched in 1999 with the acquisition of our first care home, Lilac Lodge, in Lowestoft.
All the winners of our recent regional awards, in the South, East of England, North West and Midlands, competed for our 25th Anniversary National Awards. There were also a further seven award categories.
As well as being a deserved celebration for our amazing Kingsley family, the event also honoured the stakeholders who have loyally supported Kingsley for the past 25 years.

The host of the 25th Anniversary Celebration and Care Awards...
We are delighted to welcome our awards host Gabby Logan MBE, one of the UK’s most popular and accomplished broadcasters, who has graced our television screens through three decades, presenting many memorable sporting occasions, including Olympic Games, FIFA World Cups and the iconic BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
A former international gymnast, Gabby has also crossed over into a wealth of non-sporting programmes, from appearing as a presenter on BBC’s The One Show to hosting a lunch-time show on BBC Radio 5 Live.
The co-host
Gabby is supported at our awards by popular ITV Anglia news anchor David Whiteley, a long-standing friend of Kingsley who is always such an assured and amusing host.
David spent 20 years at the BBC, presenting the regional evening news and prestigious current affairs programme, Inside Out, before making the move to ITV. He has presented earlier editions of our Kingsley awards.
