Rimi Sidhu
Home Manager
I have lived in Walton with my family for over 30 years. Family is very important to me, I have a son, a daughter and a partner. I value a good work-life balance and enjoy reading, eating out with friends and spending time with loved ones. Caring for my father, who lived with Parkinson’s Disease was a deeply rewarding experience that reinforced my passion for providing person-centred care. This commitment led me to a career in adult social care, where I have worked for over 15 years. My vision for Eliza Palmer is to empower our team to continue delivering outstanding care, ensuring that every resident feels happy, valued, and achieves positive outcomes. I also look forward to strengthening our connections with the local community and making Eliza Palmer a true home for all who live here.

Sharon Crabb
Activities Coordinator
After a career in Hospitality and catering I joined the care sector during the challenging times of COVID in 2020. I realised that I really enjoyed being a carer and continued, until joining Kingsley Healthcare in 2024 as activities coordinator, a role that I love, I feel that I make a real difference to the daily lives of our residents through planning regular activities as well as spending time with them on a one to one basis. Getting to know the residents is a delight, and I feel it is important to include them in the planning of our weekly activity programmes as well as consulting them on matters of the home through Our resident representatives. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my 2 grown up sons and friends, cooking is a passion of mine, which is reflected in our regular cookery club activities, I also enjoy quizzing and keeping fit, also reflected in our activities.

Steph Banks
Head Chef
Working as a chef in care home suits me because it combines my background in hospitality with a more meaningful purpose. I'm originally from South Africa, where I ran my own coffee shop, so I'm used to working hard and managing busy kitchens. In the care home setting, I get to apply those skills in a way that's steady and practical - preparing meals that are important to residents daily routine. It's a focused environment, and I appreciate the structure and responsibility that comes with it. As a mother of three boys, I understand how valuable time is. That perspective shapes how I work - being efficient, consistent, and mindful of the people l'm serving. I like giving, whether that's through effort, attention, or just making sure things are done properly. Outside of work, I enjoy going for walks, travelling when I can, and baking. Those things help me recharge and stay grounded, which reflects in the way I approach my role in the care home.

Maintenance
I liked to be called H, nice and easy for the residents to remember. I started out as an IT engineer after leaving school, progressing to looking after machines as a maintenance engineer in a warehouse. I moved into the care sector in 2018 and realised that this was a job that I really care about. I joined Kingsley Healthcare here at Eliza Palmer in February 2025. I love my job, fault and problem solving to ensure the smooth running of the home for residents and staff. I enjoy interacting with the residents as I go about my daily tasks. Outside of work I love to keep fit and spend a lot of time with my family. Classic car shows are of great interest to me and I try to go to them as often as possible.
