Samantha Gore
Activities and Lifestyle Coordinator
I am from Ipswich and moved to Great Yarmouth in June of 2025 to be closer to family. Before going into the care sector, I was a Zookeeper for 18 years at Colchester Zoo and looked after a variety of animals from sheep to chimpanzees and I thoroughly enjoyed it. After our move to the area I became a Housekeeper at two other care homes and during my time there I always watched the Activities Coordinators and saw the opportunity for Eversley Lodge and thought I would give it a try and I am so glad I did. The work is do with the residents is extremely rewarding. Eversley Lodge is like one big family and since being here I have felt supported and welcomed. I have a husband, two children and 1 cat called Pepper. We enjoy spending time together as a family and especially going on the beach.

Shane Collier
Operations Manager
My career began as a Care Assistant and evolved through positions including Home Cook, Deputy Manager, and Registered Manager. This journey has equipped me with a 360-degree insight into care home operations and the needs of both residents and staff. A significant part of my professional focus has been on supporting and transforming services that require strong leadership, dedication, and a clear improvement strategy. I have successfully turned around homes needing guidance and have also played a central role in commissioning new services. These combined experiences led me to my current role as Operations Manager at Kingsley Healthcare. Since joining the organisation, I have received unwavering support, guidance, and reassurance. Outside of work, I am a proud parent of three children who keep me active and grounded. Family is incredibly important to me, and we enjoy spending quality time together -especially swimming, with rock climbing a close second on our list of favourite activities.

In my leisure time I enjoy gardening and walking and continue to discover hidden gems in the Norfolk and Suffolk counties.
