Meet the team
Woodlands Lodge is lucky to have so many talented and professional staff who are devoted to the care of our residents. Here are just a few who work with us:
Sarah Davies
Home Manager
I have worked in the care sector for nearly 30 years, having started as a carer and progressed to senior carer, Deputy Manager before becoming a Home Manager. I have a Level 4 in Leadership and Management. As newly appointed Manager at Woodlands Lodge I am looking forward to getting to know all the residents and meeting with families over the next few weeks.
Michelle Hannon
Deputy Manager
Michelle has a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked in the in the care sector for over 30 years. Michelle joined Woodlands Lodge in 2020 initially as a senior care before progressing to unit lead and finally has recently taken the role of Deputy Manager and is looking forward to the challenge of her new role and supporting Caroline, the Manager. In her spare time Caroline loves spending time with her two children as well her spaniel, Alfie and loves walking him along Formby Beach.
Pauline Parker-Moore
Regional Operations Manager
I have been a qualified nurse for over 40 years and have worked in the care sector for 24 years. Since joining Kingsley in 2018 I have been privileged to work in various management roles including Home Manager, Operations Manager and my current role as Regional Operations Director. I am proud of the progress we have made across the North West region. We have major plans to extend two of our existing homes. It is a pleasure to work with the team to deliver quality care and provide luxury care homes for our residents. Outside of work I love travelling, especially going on cruises.
Andrea Barker
Operations Manager
I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1987 and have accumulated 39 years of diverse nursing experience across a wide range of healthcare settings. Shortly after completing my training, I joined the Queen Alexandra’s Royal Naval Nursing Service (QARNNS), where I served for nine years, working closely alongside Air Sea Rescue teams within the Royal Navy. Throughout my career, I have developed specialist expertise in oncology and chemotherapy services, providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing complex treatments. My professional journey later led me into the field of older adult care, where I discovered a particular passion for supporting elderly individuals to live fulfilling, meaningful lives. I am committed to person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and choice. I strongly believe that later life should be rich with opportunity, enjoyment, and new experiences, and I strive to create environments where fun, adventure, and personal fulfilment are integral parts of everyday living. In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog, Duke, a 3 year old cock-a-poo, as well as spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy running, reading, sailing and generally living life to the full.
Maggie McCaul
Regional Service Quality Manager, North West
I have nearly 28 years of experience in the care sector. During this time, I have worked for a Charity, the NHS and in the private sector in both residential and nursing homes. I have been registered with CQC as both a Home Manager and Domiciliary Manager. I have also worked as an Area and Regional Support Manager in operational teams. I hold a Level 5 in Health and Social Care and Registered Managers award and a Level 5 in Quality Accreditation. My passions are person centred care, inclusion, customer service, and end-of-life care. My current role with Kingsley Healthcare is Regional Service Quality Manager in the North West. I am proud to work alongside and support the Regional Team and the Home Teams to continuously improve and embed quality practices. Outside of work I love to read in my spare time, travel with my friends and family, especially mini-breaks and visiting America.
