Ayush Wellness
Each Wednesday at 2.30pm we are very fortunate to have a live link up via zoom with an instructor in Sri Lanka - this is provided to all Kingsley homes by our central support team to aid the wellbeing of our residents.
A wellness session is a structured activity designed to improve overall health (physical, mental, emotional, social) through practices like yoga, meditation, massage, creative arts, nutrition workshops, or stress management


These sessions focus on breathing, stretching and massage, whilst breathing we count to 10 and our stretches include punching and reaching, we use coordination by tapping our fingers together plus many other exercises.
Not only are there health benefits but we always manage to laugh during it too which helps our mood.
And of course after the activity we always finish with a visit from the Tea Trolley.
