A Heartfelt Blessing Ceremony at King's Court Care Home

kc blessing01

Residents, staff and community friends of King’s Court Care Home were delighted to welcome Father Howard of the Parish Church of St. Andrew the Apostle, Holt and All Saints, High Kelling to officiate over blessing the home.

Father Howard said, “It’s been over 30 years since I was ordained and I have blessed many homes over the years but King’s Court is the first Care Home! I was delighted to be invited to proceed over the blessing and also residents who requested individual room blessings too. Thank you so much to all of the team at King’s Court for your warm welcome – King’s Court really has a lovely atmosphere and it is clear that your residents are very happy!

The blessing included a reading, prayers and hymns and the home’s residents, staff and guests enjoyed refreshments afterwards to mark the special occasion.

Manager – Tracey Curson said, “This is truly a day for us all here at King’s Court to remember. There were tears of happiness shed and this moment will be sure to be remembered for many years to come - thank you very much Father Howard. We have been tremendously busy at the home and are all very much looking forward to throwing open our doors again on Saturday 26th October for our Open Day between 10am – 4pm too!”
