Care home manager honoured for her work on dementia plan

The manager of Brooke House care home in Brooke has been honoured for her work in dementia care. Laura Crowley was presented with the Hummingbird Award for the Ultimate Wings Champion at the Kingsley Care Awards held at Ivy House Hotel in Lowestoft. The accolade was presented for her role in developing and rolling out Kingsley Healthcare's innovative Wings programme for dementia care. The trophies at Lowestoft-based Kingsley's second care awards were presented by Dr Dawn Harper, star of TV's Embarrassing Bodies.
