Celebrating Hilda's Incredible 106th Birthday!

Hilda Jarrold was born on 11th of March 1919, she left school the young age of 14 to work; Hilda worked in Turners factory.

Hilda got married to Fred in 1946 they went on to have 3 children; Janice, Richard and Alan. Hilda and Fred had 45 years of happy marriage.

Hilda is proud to have 8 grandchildren and 4 great grand-children.

Hilda currently lives at Spring Lodge nursing home where she enjoys lots of different activities including Knitting, sewing, crosswords, gardening and reading poetry. Prior to her moving into Spring Lodge nursing home she was living independently at home.

Hilda is as active as she can be at her current age of 106; but does like a little nap in the afternoon; I don’t blame her!!

Hilda is a wonderful lady who loves a good laugh!

Hilda celebrated her 106th birthday with all of her family around her, she was happy to have them all close by.
