Craft In The Garden

We had a wonderful afternoon yesterday taking our craft activity out into the garden. One of our residents had invited a relative to show us how to make Easter Cards and room decorations. We had great fun learning how to fold paper and choosing which colours matched. There was lots of talk about crafts they used to do and what they had enjoyed in their younger days. Several residents said they'd been too busy bringing up families and never had the chance to do this in the past! We finished off the session with cups of tea and listening to the birds that were singing.
