Diwali Craft

We have spent a couple of days doing some Diwali craft. While none of our residents personally celebrate Diwali, we had a brilliant time learning about Diwali. We learned that Diwali is the Hindu festival of light that celebrates the triumph of good over evil, and light over dark. The world 'Diwali' translates as 'row of lighted lamps', so we have spent time making our own lamps. It was a brilliant and informative afternoon!
