Egg-cellent Easter Fun Day Delights Families at Eversley Nursing Home

Great Yarmouth care home brings community together for seasonal celebration

Families in Great Yarmouth flocked to Eversley Nursing Home on Easter Sunday for a fun-filled community event that proved a resounding hit with residents and visitors alike.

Children enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the home's courtyard garden on North Denes Road, while inside, young visitors got creative at an Easter craft table and tried their hand at making Easter bonnets. Everyone was treated to homemade hot-cross buns and hot chocolate throughout the morning.

Danielle Bullent, manager at the Kingsley Healthcare home, said the event had been a wonderful occasion for residents and visitors. "The event was a brilliant success and our residents loved engaging with the children."

On Friday, 24 April, the home will throw open its doors once again from 1pm to 5pm to celebrate its first anniversary with a special party. Guests can look forward to live jazz, a magician, a barbecue and a picnic.

Members of the public are warmly encouraged to come along and join in the celebrations.
