Guests generous in their tributes to King’s Court care home at VIP evening
The perfect weather matched the company and the surroundings for a special VIP soiree at King’s Court care home, in Hempstead Road, Holt.
As an expression of gratitude for the warm welcome Kingsley Healthcare’s new flagship home has received from the outset, staff organised an evening for the town’s leaders to look around the impressive facilities and enjoy King’s Court’s landscaped gardens.
On a balmy evening, more than 60 guests enjoyed Champagne cocktails and canapes as they chatted to the staff and members of Kingsley’s senior team who were all thrilled by the reaction to their latest luxury care home.
North Norfolk MP Duncan Baker, who grew up in Holt, led the generous tributes describing King’s Court as a “wonderful, wonderful place”.
He said: “I cannot believe the quality and the finish and all the facilities, and what makes it incredible is the care and passion of the staff who showed us around.”
Holt Mayor Sarah Tribe was joined at the event by fellow local councillors, while other prominent townspeople enjoying the soiree included Tony Britten, artistic director of Holt Festival and Father Howard Stoker, Rector of St Andrew’s Church.
Members of the town’s business community, including representatives of the chamber of commerce, Love Holt, were in attendance as was the Holt GP who serves King’s Court, Dr Paige Allen.
Carol Preston, Operations Manager for King’s Court, said: “It was delightful to welcome so many local people and show our appreciation for their support that began when we were applying for planning permission.
“We were thrilled by their reaction as it has always been our aim to provide a care facility that the community would be proud of.”
