Activities coordinator Marcia Hughes came up with a lovely surprise for Buckingham Lodge resident Karen Neal when she discovered she had been a keen teenage gymnast.

She contacted Sara Jane Inglis, head coach and managing director of The Norfolk Academy of Gymnastics, based in Attleborough, and she brought along six of her gymnasts to perform a dazzling display in the garden of the home in Carbrooke, near Watton.

Marcia said: “Karen placed a wish on the home’s wishing tree to see a gymnastics display and we were delighted to make it come true.

“We are passionate about person-centred care and always pleased to make the day special for our residents.”
