Hadleigh Nursing Home Receives End-Of-Life Care Re-Accreditation by St Elizabeth Hospice

Hadleigh Nursing Home in Hadleigh, is proud to announce it has been awarded the End-Of-Life Care Accreditation by St Elizabeth Hospice, recognising the home’s exceptional standards in providing compassionate, dignified and person-centred care to residents approaching the end of life. 

The accreditation, developed by St Elizabeth Hospice - Hospice Education as part of its mission to improve palliative care across the region, is awarded to care homes that demonstrate excellence in end-of-life support through staff training, personalised care planning, effective communication and emotional and spiritual support for both residents and their families. 

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people in Suffolk and North-East Essex living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses. The charity provides specialist support wherever it is needed - at home, in the community or at the hospice itself. They play a key role in ups killing other care providers to ensure wider access to compassionate, high-quality palliative care. 

“This accreditation means so much to the entire team” says Emma Hammond, Kingsley’s End of Life Care Training Specialist. “It reflects our deep commitment to ensuring that every resident receives the highest standard of care, respect and compassion at the end of their life. Director of Care for St Elizabeth Hospice, Lisa Parish, said: “Hadleigh has a lovely homely feel, very friendly and inclusive. We are delighted to recognise their hard work and dedication through the re-accreditation.”
