Inspectors praise work of staff as care home is rated GOOD

Care home staff won the praise of inspectors for their “caring, respectful and professional” relationship with residents.   The Care Quality Commission awarded an overall ‘good’ rating to Allonsfield House, in Campsea Ashe, near Woodbridge, following an unannounced inspection of the Kingsley Healthcare run home.

Manager, Jill Harris, who recently won a directors’ award for her 25 years’ service at the home, said: “All my staff are thrilled with the report, which recognises all their hard work and dedication.” The report said safety, training and recruitment were also good at Allonsfield House, which cares for up to 42 people some living with dementia. One resident told them: “I know all the staff here and they know me. “They know what I like and they respect my wishes.”
