Intergenerational Forest School

Cheshire Forest Schools invited us to work alongside the children from Sandiway School on some forest arts and crafts. We decided it was a bit too cold to be outside so the children brought the forest and their skills to us.

We had great fun using hammers to release the dye from leaves to stain some fabric Christmas Trees. For our second activity we used feathers and pine cones to make some owls.

To finish off we enjoyed sharing a book together with some hot chocolate and a marshmallow. Everyone had a great time and we can't wait for our next session in Spring!
