International Nurses Day celebration at Allonsfield House

Allonsfield House has just been registered as a nursing home so staff could not let International Nurses Day pass without a special celebration!
 
Nurses Anna O’Neill and Eraldi Kurti were presented with a bouquet of flowers, chocolates and a thank you card by home manager Judith Morgan-Worrall.
 
Last but not least, Darrell Smith, chef at the home in Campsea Ashe, near Woodbridge, made them a specially decorated cake.
 
Anna said: “I was so excited to join the new nursing team here. The home is so light and bright and residents can flow freely in and out of the garden.
 
“The gardens and our smallholding, Allonsfield Farm, are beautiful and so good for the wellbeing of the residents.”
 
Eraldi, who arrived at Allonsfield House from her homeland in Greece, said: “It is really like a family here, I love it.”
