Kingsley CEO welcomes Anglia in Bloom launch
Kingsley’s marketing director Wasantha Darshana and head of PR Stephen Pullinger travelled to the impressive gardens at Bressingham near Diss where the competition was launched with a tree planting by attraction owner Adrian Bloom and Anglia in Bloom president Brian Thornton. In the charity’s 20th anniversary year, Kingsley Healthcare has introduced a new category for care homes and sheltered housing developments.
Two of Kingsley’s homes, Lilac Lodge and Kirkley Manor in Lowestoft, have already started planning impressive floral displays to brighten their neighbourhoods. Kingsley is also sponsoring Lowestoft in Bloom in its home town. Mr Thayan said: “We are delighted to be the major sponsor of Anglia in Bloom. Many of our care homes are in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex which are counties blessed with wonderful countryside. “Our gardens at all our homes are our pride and joy, whether they are relatively small urban spaces or acres of mature grounds in the country.” Brian Thornton, president of Anglia in Bloom, said: “We welcome and thank Kingsley Healthcare for becoming our first major business sponsor in our special 20th anniversary year of Anglia in Bloom and look forward to a long and fruitful partnership.”
