Kingsley Healthcare Opens New Specialist Care Service in Beccles
Kingsley Healthcare Celebrates Decade of Success in carehome.co.uk Awards
Kingsley Healthcare is delighted to announce the opening of a much-needed specialist care service in Beccles, Suffolk.
Broads View, located close to the picturesque market town’s shops and amenities and within easy reach of Beccles Quay, will
provide a high-quality, person-centred care environment for up to six people with a learning disability and associated conditions.
Following successful registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the service will shortly welcome its first resident.
Kingsley Healthcare co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Daya Thayan said:
“We are proud to be opening our seventh specialist service. The residents we care for could be anyone’s son or daughter and
deserve the very best quality of life we can provide. Our aim is to create a nurturing environment where everyone can enjoy
fulfilling and independent lives.”
Chris May, Managing Director of Specialist Services, added:
“We know there is a significant demand for this type of high-quality specialist care. Broads View has been designed to help break
the cycle of hospital readmissions by providing a supportive environment where individuals can thrive, learn and achieve their
goals. Our approach is tailored to each resident’s lifestyle, needs and aspirations.”
The service has been carefully designed to promote independence, with each resident enjoying their own self-contained flat
featuring a bedroom, lounge, kitchen and dining area, as well as a private shower room and toilet. Communal spaces are also
available, enabling residents to socialise and connect with others as they choose.
Kingsley Healthcare began with a single care home in Suffolk in 1999 and has since grown into a top-20 ranked UK large care home
group, according to carehome.co.uk. Today, the organisation employs nearly 3,500 staff nationwide, delivering care across 43
elderly care and specialist services.
