Kingsley Healthcare support Rob’s Car Fest
Kingsley Healthcare, which has six homes in the North West, was delighted to support Marcus Christie who organised the successful, ‘Rob’s Car Fest’, on Saturday 20th July in honour of his brother who sadly passed away from cancer in 2023.
Rob, who served his country in the armed forces was a loveable, selfless individual who always put other people before himself and offered help and support to those in need. Rob loved cars, particular American cars and classic TV and Film car, he often went to Car Shows held at Tatton Park and, during his illness, Marcus arranged for some cars to visit him at Four Oaks Care Home much to his delight and that of other car enthusiasts in the home.
Thanks to funding Marcus secured from Up and Away Aviation he was able to turn his brothers dream of having his own car festival into reality.
The event, which was held at the Bull’s Head Pub in Hale Barns, as part of the Hale Barns Festival, was attended by a number of classic cars including NYPD, the A Team Van, NY Taxi, Jurassic Park Jeep and many more. The event also saw visits from a Del Boy look-a-like, Bat Man, Buzz Light Year and Transformers Bumblebee and Optimus Prime.
