Kingsley Healthcare through Kingsley Philanthropy Announce Partnership with The King's Trust

Kingsley Healthcare Group through Kingsley Philanthropy, Announces Strategic Partnership with The King’s Trust to Support the Next Generation of Care Professionals

The King’s Trust programme is designed to support motivated young people into sustainable employment within the health and social care sector. The King’s Trust focuses on long-term career outcomes, this outcome-driven approach ensures quality placements, structured support and lasting impact for both employers and young people.

Through structured cohorts of approximately 20 participants, each candidate goes through an initial pre-assessment and guided through tiered training programmes, including:

  1. Get Started is a 2–3 day intensive introduction to the sector, combining employability skills and interview preparation.
  2. Get Into is a more in-depth 4–6 week programme blending classroom learning with hands-on work placements.
  3. Both are complemented by one-to-one mentoring to support young people as they transition into employment.

As part of this initiative, Kingsley Healthcare, through our Kingsley Academy in the North West, will work closely with The King’s Trust regional teams in Manchester and Liverpool to provide high-quality training, hands-on workplace experience and structured employment opportunities within Kingsley homes.

The health and social care sector employs over 1.7 million people across the UK and remains one of the country’s largest and most vital workforces.
