Kingsley homes closed to visitors from October 30 to November 15

covid 19 update

Due to rising Covid infection rates in the community we are announcing the closure of our homes to all but essential visitors for a two week period. We have continued to see an increase in R infection levels throughout the country and in our local communities. This period will allow us to monitor and take a more measured approach going forward in the coming winter months.

Family visits will regrettably not be permitted except for compassionate reasons in exceptional circumstances.

Director of compliance Eugene Nyamande said: “We have taken this decision with a heavy heart but it is essential to safeguard our residents from infection. We will review the situation towards the end of the two weeks. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our residents’ families for their understanding and continued support in our fight against this pandemic.”
