Lilac Lodge hosts tea tasting contest!

To celebrate National Tea Day at Lilac Lodge, we had our yearly Tea Tasting Competition. Last year's winner by a landslide victory was surprisingly, Toast and Jam flavoured tea. Now we all enjoy tea and toast, but not in the same mug!

This year's contenders were:
Green tea
Mixed Berries
Peppermint
Toast and Jam (why not)
Malty Biscuit

The residents were joined by children from Oulton Broad Primary School and their teacher who were more than happy to help us judge this year's tastiest tea, with some complimentary cakes.

The children established peppermint tea was definitely not their favourite! In 2nd place we had mixed berries, but a firm favourite was Malty Biscuit Tea, which has been crowned this year's winner.
