Make a Friend Day in the North West!

Care Homes Come Together to Celebrate Friendship

Residents and teams from several local care homes recently came together for a heartwarming morning dedicated to connection and companionship as part of the #MakeAFriend initiative.

The gathering took place at Four Oaks Care Home, where residents and staff warmly welcomed visitors from Timperley Nursing Home and Oakfield Croft Care Home for a relaxed and friendly morning together.

Guests enjoyed a selection of delicious cakes, refreshments and warming drinks, creating the perfect setting for conversation and connection. More importantly, the gathering provided a wonderful opportunity for residents and staff to meet new people, share stories and build new friendships.

The room quickly filled with smiles, laughter and lively conversation as everyone settled in and got to know one another. For many residents, the morning offered the chance to form new connections while enjoying the welcoming atmosphere created by the teams at Four Oaks.

Events like these highlight the importance of community and companionship, demonstrating how simple moments spent together can create lasting memories and meaningful relationships.

The team at Four Oaks Care Home were delighted to host the gathering and look forward to many more opportunities to bring residents and neighbouring homes together in the future.
