Making Bird Feeders

Our residents at Redwalls really enjoy taking part in the RSPB garden birdwatch event. Many of the residents have birdfeeders outside their windows so they can enjoy birdwatching throughout the year. As part of the birdwatch event we decided to make some extra birdfeeders to see if we could encourage even more birds to visit.

We used old cardboard tubes and covered them with peanut butter, we then rolled them in birdseed and added a twig to perch on and some string to hang them up with. It was a very messy activity but we all enjoyed it
