Mayor is special guest at Sharston House festive fair

Xmas Fair 2

Residents, relatives and staff welcomed the Mayor of Knutsford, Cllr Colin Banks, together with his trusted pal Stephen (the Mayoral Dog) to their Christmas Fair, where he was invited to 'officially' switch on the Christmas Tree lights.

The Christmas Tree, which had been tastefully decorated by 'Mini Vinnies' (pupils from St Vincent's Primary School) looked beautiful.

The Mayor spent time chatting to residents.

There was live entertainment provided by Joe Cockx who sang some favourite Christmas tunes, which everyone enjoyed singing along to.

No Christmas fair is complete without a tombola and a raffle and everyone went away with a prize!

There was a wonderful lamb hotpot prepared by our fabulous chef together with some delicious cakes.
