New era begins for Eversley Nursing Home in Great Yarmouth

kingsley luxury care homes eversely

Eversley Nursing Home in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, is undergoing a major transformation as one era ends and an exciting new one begins. The last residents moved into new accommodation earlier this month ahead of the demolition of the Kingsley Healthcare home in North Denes Road, making way for a luxury replacement.

Construction work will start immediately on a new Eversley Lodge Nursing Home with fabulous facilities, extending onto the site of the former Arden Court Hotel. The new home is part of Kingsley's Vision 2025 strategy to invest in boutique, luxury homes for today's discerning care seekers.

Kingsley CEO Daya Thayan paid tribute to the amazing work of home manager Ewa Kujawa and her team which had established Eversley as a nursing home with an exemplary reputation in the local community and among health professionals.

He said: “Eversley Lodge will deliver the same superb standard of care in a much improved environment. It will set new standards in terms of comfort and luxury and provide residents with every amenity they could wish for.”

Kingsley's Group Chief Investment Officer, Muj Malik, said Eversley Lodge would be a tremendous amenity for the local community, meeting the strong demand for high-quality nursing care in the area.

Kingsley's Group Operations Director, Debbie McGovern, said Eversley had built a fantastic reputation, with a part outstanding CQC rating and the Gold Standard Framework's highest platinum accreditation for end-of-life care. The new facilities would bring a superb level of comfort and luxury alongside the top notch care.

Eversley Lodge will be on three floors with purpose-built en-suite wetrooms. There will be much improved amenity areas, including three spacious lounges, a hair salon, and a new catering kitchen. A generous reception area with a café and a large staff and meeting/training room are also included in the design.

The design team, led by Kingsley's Design Director, Rob Patkai, has put resident wellbeing at the forefront of their work. They have designed the home with beautiful open spaces and terraces on the first and second floors.

The new home is expected to open in the autumn next year, and it is set to become a benchmark in luxury nursing care.
