New Kingsley Home Care branch opens in Mere Street, Diss

Passers-by are being given goodie bags and cupcakes today to mark the opening of the new Kingsley Home Care branch office in Mere Street, Diss. (Wednesday January 12)
Head of home care Kirsten Brooks has been talking to people about the range of services that her staff can provide in clients’ homes, including companionship and personal care.
Kirsten and operations director Georgina Johnston formally declared the branch open by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.
Diss is the first home care branch being run by Kingsley Healthcare which has built a trusted name as a national care homes operator over two decades.
Kirsten said: “We offer a very flexible service. People can pay for as little as one hour of care a week if that’s what they want.
“It might be a question of our carers sitting with someone while their partner does the shopping or it could be that we are providing much more extensive essential daily support enabling someone to carry on living in their own home.”
She is keen to hear from anyone interested in a role as a care assistant and stressed that hours could be flexible and built around their family commitments. Full training would be given and good rates of pay offered.
Anyone interested is asked to contact her on 07732 499544.
