Pancake Day and Chinese New Year

Residents and staff enjoyed a fun-filled and flavour-packed Pancake Day, complete with delicious homemade pancakes, creative craft activities, and plenty of laughter. The morning was made even more special by surprise visitors who helped spread the joy and a little stickiness throughout the home.

The celebrations continued as we welcomed the Lunar New Year 2026 in style. The occasion was marked with a fantastic feast of authentic Chinese cuisine, lovingly prepared by Xiuli Shao and our talented kitchen team. The vibrant dishes brought both colour and tradition to the table, creating a truly memorable dining experience for everyone.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, live music from KJ & The Catt filled the home with energy and warmth, encouraging residents to sing along and celebrate together.

It was a wonderful start to the Lunar New Year, as we wish everyone health, happiness, and prosperity for the year ahead.
