Residents Celebrate International Hawaiian Pizza Day

What a wonderful afternoon we had celebrating International Hawaiian Pizza Day! Our residents had a fantastic time getting hands-on in the kitchen, making their own delicious Hawaiian pizzas.

We started by chatting about all the different types of pizza our residents have enjoyed over the years and the new flavours they'd love to try. We then discussed what makes a perfect Hawaiian pizza, and everyone had a chance to join in on the fun! Sandy, Doreen, and both Anns especially enjoyed adding the toppings to create these tasty treats for our tea time.

When it was time for tea, we went around and asked everyone what they thought of the freshly made pizzas, and they were a hit! Residents Andrew, Michael, Clare, and Ray all agreed that these pizzas should be on the menu again. It was a big thumbs up from everyone!
