Redwalls team Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research

Redwalls Nursing Home in Sandiway, which is part of the Kingsley Healthcare group of homes, recently took part in the Race for Life event at Heaton Park in Manchester, in aid of Cancer Research.

With 1 in 2 people likely to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime the team are passionate about raising awareness of the need for cancer research. The staffing team of 17 walked in honour and memory of all the residents, staff members and loved ones who have sadly lost their battle with cancer.

Cancer is happening right now, which is why the team took part in a Race for Life to help raise money and save lives.

Redwalls raised an amazing £1600 for Cancer Research in their aim to stand together and help beat cancer.
