RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch

The residents had a wonderful time making preparations for the RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch weekend, which was at the end of January.

To help attract more wild birds to the garden the residents enjoyed making fat balls to hang around the garden.

As part of their preparations they also studied bird books with details of birds native to the UK so that they could names the species visiting their garden.

They had a fabulous time and enjoyed spotting the various birds who then visited. As spring is nearly upon us and we are slowly hearing the wonderful sounds of birds everyone is delighted to be able to name their little visits.
