Kingsley Healthcare presents scoreboards to Holt Bowls Club
It was a pleasure to present smart new scoreboards to Holt Bowls Club in the historic north Norfolk town where we are building our next luxury nursing home.
Operations manager Carol Preston and marketing director Stephen Pullinger caught up with club members over a cup of tea and were delighted by the level of interest shown in our new flagship home which will be opening early next year.
“They are an amazingly friendly and welcoming club and we said we are keen to establish a long-standing relationship with them as part of our important community engagement work,” said Mr Pullinger.
“When the home opens it will be vital for residents to feel connected to their local community.”
Miss Preston, pictured at the presentation, said: “We are delighted to be building this fabulous luxury care facility for the people of Holt and surrounding areas. It is clear from talking to the bowls club members that it is very much needed.
“We will be hosting open days in the new year and I can’t wait to show people around. The home has been designed by our award-winning architects with resident wellbeing in mind.”
Kingsley’s Chief Investment Officer Muj Malik said: “As well as providing a much-needed care facility, our new home will provide a considerable boost to the local economy. It will eventually employ more than 100 staff and we will soon start recruiting for a variety of roles, including nurses, maintenance people, support workers, wellbeing coordinators, hospitality managers, administrators and housekeepers.”
King’s Court Care Home, which is being built by Norfolk construction firm R G Carter, will offer facilities and a level of service comparable to a top-class hotel.
There will be 66 spacious and beautifully appointed bedrooms, elegant and supremely comfortable communal rooms, a state-of-the-art cinema room, bright community café, library, hairdressing and beauty salon and stunning landscaped garden.
