Sky diving for Alzheimer’s Society

We all wish our Buckingham Lodge administrator Millie success with her sky high ambitions.

Inspired by our residents who are living with dementia, Millie has signed up to do a sky dive to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Society.

Kingsley has kicked off her fundraising with a £200 donation and Millie hopes colleagues, friends and people from the wider community will sponsor her ahead of her jump on August 5th.

Millie, who has worked at Buckingham Lodge since she left school in 2018, said: “I  joined the staff as a housekeeper and also helped out in the kitchen and laundry. When I was 18 I began working as a support worker and went on to a senior support worker role. Now I am the home administrator.

“Because I have worked closely with people living with dementia, Alzheimer’s Society is very close to my heart. The charity provides vital support to people living with dementia and their families.

“I'm appealing for sponsors to kindly donate a small amount towards my event. Times are hard at the moment but any donation will be greatly received.”
