Branksome Heights staff and residents bowled over by new game

The Just Bowl team is working with Kingsley homes across England, teaching staff how they can deliver an exciting new bowls game to residents.

This week, Just Bowl director Ian was at Branksome Heights, in Bournemouth, talking staff through all the equipment and set up and encouraging them all to have a go.

Lifestyle coordinator Paige said: “We had lots of fun setting up different ways to play bowls while discussing how the residents will participate and what aspects of the game they will enjoy the most.

“One of our residents, Paul, was also observing the demonstration and decided to show us all how it’s done. He enjoyed the feel and weight of the bowls and the ease of how to play.”
