Vanessa Frost has been nominated as Kingsley's healthcare hero

Domestic support worker Vanessa Frost, 31, has been nominated as Kingsley's healthcare hero for her amazing dedication at the height of the pandemic.

Despite her younger daughter Tilly, eight, needing heart surgery to repair a faulty valve and remedy an aneurysm, she managed to successfully juggle her care duties as a mother with work at Park Lane Care Home, in Congleton.

Home manager Jayne O'Sullivan said: "She never took time off and even picked up extra shifts when necessary. Her efforts as part of the team have helped us remain Covid free throughout the pandemic."
