VE Day at Four Oaks

We took part in a Guinness World Record attempt to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

The fabulous Cat-Diva, joined us for the afternoon - singing classic war time songs to help bring us back to those days of celebration, 80 years ago. Our residents reminisced whilst they sang and danced the afternoon away, before tucking in to a traditional buffet.

Flags were high, patriotism was in the air, literally, and some truly special memories were made.What a marvellous tribute to the day, with Beryl saluting it off.
