VJ Day Commemoration

Today Liz and Daphne went down to Congleton Cenotaph to commemorate VJDay and the end of WW2. The ladies were introduced to some of Congleton veterans and this years Mayor, Councillor Robert Brittain. The Last Post was sounded with a short service before the National Anthem. The ladies then had a bit of a sing song before returning home.
