Will you be my Valentine?

The ladies of Downham Grange nursing home have issued an invitation to local gentlemen to join them for their Valentine’s Day dance. Tracy Nicholls, activities coordinator at the home in Clackclose Road, Downham Market, said: “We are putting on a fabulous tea dance on February 14 and everyone is really excited about it.

“However, there is just one problem; we have far more ladies who are mobile and able to dance than gentlemen. “We would love to invite gentlemen from the local community to come along to our dance and make it the perfect day for our residents.” The event will get under way at 3pm with live dance music.

Visitors, residents and their families will be treated to a vintage cream tea. Tracy said: “Please give me a call at the home if you want more information but we are happy for people to just turn up on the day.”
