Winnie the Pooh Day

International Winne the Pooh Day marks author A.A. Milne's birthday. It is a celebration of all things Pooh and friends.

We made our very own mini 'Hundred Acre Woods' complete with some hidden seeds in them in the hope we will see them bloom in our sensory garden.

We then had some recitals of Winnie the pooh stories and reminisced abut reading them to our children. One resident recalled that the illustrator for original Winnie the Pooh books, Ernest Howard Shepard, moved out of London and just down the road to Saxmundham, he was know in the village for always riding his bike around.
