Yaxley Men up to something 'Fishy' in Great Yarmouth

Harry and Peter with Julie

Three of our gentleman residents visited the Sea Life Centre this week with Angie and Julie and got to observe not just Fish but Penguins, Tide Pool invertebrates and Creepy Crawlies as well.

Peter O' Brien was getting lots of sensory stimuli with Starfish, and the Giant Millipede. Harry Wallis was fascinated by the colours of the tropical fish (Nemo of course!) and the rays. They learnt that Pacu's are a South American Fresh Water fish related to the Piranha BUT much more friendly and omnivorous...thank goodness! Colin Deamer was enthralled by the Penguin Tank The weather was kind on the Sea Front and the sea air gave them all a good appetite for tea time!
