My journey began as a qualified IT Engineer. However, driven by a passion for helping others, I made a conscious decision to transition into the field of health and social care. In 2014, I attained my qualification as a registered nurse. My tenure at Kingsley commenced as a nurse, before advancing into management roles. I am proud to be manager at Buckingham Lodge, Our ethos revolves around providing personalised, person-centered care and unwavering support to our residents. Beyond the confines of my professional responsibilities, I continue to indulge in my passion for technology. Whether it's tinkering with gadgets or staying abreast of technological advancements, my enthusiasm for innovation remains undiminished.

I have worked within the Hospitality sector for over 20 years, starting from the very bottom working my way up. I love my job because i like to see smiles on people's faces and know that they are fed well and have a warm, safe and cosy home to live in. I enjoy working for Kingsley as we are one big family! and i get the help and support from all levels of the team. On my down time i like to relax with a nice home cooked meal with my family and my dog Pepper.

Before starting with Kingsley Healthcare I was working as a care home receptionist/administrator at another company. I have found Buckingham Lodge a positive and supportive environment where everyone’s contribution is valued. There is excellent communication and mutual respect among colleagues with great opportunities for career and personal development. I am a very active person so you will always find me doing something whether it is decorating, gardening, exercising or trying a new hobby.

I've been with the company for five years and it has been a great experience. i enjoy dealing with family members and making the admission of their loved one an easy transition for them. In my spare time i enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy novels and spending time with my grandson.

Cressida Daglish

Regional Operations Manager

I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse and I have worked in the care sector for over 30 years in a variety of settings, in both the private and public sector. Before my current role, I was working at a regional level in acute mental health services. I think a real strong point of Kingsley is the good teamwork, not just in our homes but at head office and in the relationship between head office and the homes. You find supportive people across the board. Outside of work I love going to the theatre and spending time with family and friends.

Carol Preston

Operations Manager

I have worked in the care sector for 45 years, beginning my journey as a health care assistant in a busy A and E department. Before joining Kingsley, I have worked in regional management roles for the past 20 years. I love the fact that Kingsley is a family business with family values that mean we treat our residents and colleagues like members of our own family. Outside of work, I love going on country walks with my Saluki, Ed, and I have a variety of other interests including yoga. I am a Reiki practitioner.

Jonathan Ellis

Service Quality Manager

Before coming to Kingsley I was an inspector at the Care Quality Commission and, prior to that, my background as a manager and nurse included considerable experience in service development and quality delivery in the NHS. I admire Kingsley’s very person-centred approach to care and it is a pleasure for me to work with our dedicated home teams to achieve a Good CQC rating, at a minimum, in every one of our services.
