I have worked in healthcare since qualifying as a general nurse in 1998, joining the Queen Charlotte team in 2022. I care deeply about my home and all the residents and staff within my care. I am very proud of the team at Queen Charlotte and the way the work together to ensure that the best care is given to all. When I am at work I enjoy exploring Dorset, Devon and Cornwall finding those hidden treasures that make where we live so special with my family.

I have worked at Queen Charlotte Care home for 9 years in a variety of roles, having worked in social care since 2002 I have a wealth of knowledge that I share with the care team. Caring for residents that have dementia is a passion of mine and something I feel is truly worthwhile. Outside work, I love walking my dog in the evenings

I have worked at Queen Charlotte for six years as the clinical lead I enjoy my role within the home and love making everyday special for our residents, supporting the junior staff, teaching and ensuring that we always deliver the best care we can. I love social media when I am not at work and am totally addicted to tick tok and facebook

Sandie Morris

Clinical Lead Nurse

I have been a Registered Nurse for 34 years working in both general nursing and mental health and have worked in dementia care for 12 years. I like to lead by example, I am resident focused, and always treat the person not the illness. I believe everyone is entitled to safe respectful care with dignity and respect. I started working for Kingsley in 2023, coming across the border from Somerset. A passion for football dominates my free time being a committed follower of Yeovil FC.

Claire Sheppard

Activities Co-ordinator

I came on board at Kingsley in 2023, transitioning from childcare, starting as an activities co-ordinator, then progressing to lead activities co-ordinator, I am passionate about leading the home's activities and my team, placing residents at the centre of everything we do and treating them with kindness, empathy and respect. I have a passion for horses and riding along long stretches of beach with the wind and waves is an invigorating way to relax.

Emily Harris

Head Chef

I went to Weymouth College and completed my chef apprenticeship in 2015 before working locally in restaurants in Weymouth and Portland. I transitioned into care catering during the pandemic discovering an interest in person centred catering, keeping the resident at the centre of everything I do. I have a real passion for baking and often interact with residents’ activities during the cooking club. When I am not cooking I enjoy fossil collecting on the beautiful Dorset beaches, keeping me outside and giving a great sense of freedom.

Simon Lewis

Regional Lifestyle and Hospitality Manager

With 28 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Simon started as a chef in Weymouth and Portland hotels before progressing to London where he had the honour of cooking for the Royal family. In 2013, he transitioned to the care sector, achieving accolades such as South West Care Chef of the Year and Most Nutritional Menu. He says his goal is to always provide a great plate of food for every individual, regardless of dietary needs, with resident-led menus.

Tracey Millar

Operations Manager

My entry into the care sector was in 2008 when I joined Highcliffe Nursing Home as administrator. I have since progressed to deputy manager, home manager and operations manager, becoming regional operations manager last year. I love the fact that the staff at our Dorset homes are all team players and support each other. It's important to me that Kingsley is a family business and the family ethos is present in everything we do. Outside of work I enjoy gardening and walking my dogs.

Cyril Fomonyuy

Service Quality Manager

I have worked in the care sector for 22 years, starting as a Registered Nurse in my home country of Cameroon. I joined Kingsley in 2016 as a registered home manager and subsequently progressed to Service Quality Manager. I love the culture at Kingsley which invests in and empowers its staff and supports career progression. Outside work, I am an author and write and do research about leadership and management.
