Home Manager

I qualified as a nurse and midwife in 1995 before joining Kingsley Healthcare in 2019. After leaving India in 2004, I worked as a staff nurse at Macclesfield General Hospital for six years, before becoming Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager and finally Home Manager here at Sharston House. I am compassionate, dedicated and caring. I strive to provide a supportive environment for the residents, family members and staff. I relish a challenge, and have always been an enthusiastic team player. I love cooking and am Mum to two lovely boys!

Doina Dragusanu

Deputy Manager

I qualified as a nurse in Romania in 2016 before joining Kingsley Healthcare here at Sharston House Since moving to the UK, I have worked in a variety of healthcare settings, working my way up from a care assistant to Deputy Manager. I continue to grow my knowledge and skill set, I love to take on new challenges and enjoy helping other members of staff to improve their knowledge and healthcare skills. I believe these leadership skills support team members both personally and professionally. I love reading and listening to music – I especially love singing and dancing to music in my car!

Joanne Johnson

Home Administrator

I have worked in the healthcare sector for 22 years before joining Kingsley Healthcare in 2022. I started my working life on the domestic team, graduated to cook, then activities co-ordinator and finally as Home Service Manager. I find the role of Home Administrator both interesting and challenging and enjoy working with a fantastic team here. I enjoy arts and crafts, I am a passionate gardener and very proud Nana to four wonderful grandchildren.

Christine Race

Activities & Lifestyle Co-ordinator

I ran my own catering company for 15 years before joining the team at Sharston in 2023. I also ran an artisan cafe in Poynton, Cheshire alongside my catering business. Prior to running my own business I worked in the healthcare sector as a lifestyle co-ordinator. I find supporting the residents extremely rewarding; building good relationships with residents and their families is vital for a happy home. I am an enthusiastic cook and gardener and also love reading and walking my dogs in our beautiful Cheshire countryside.

Louise Bours

Activities & Lifestyle Co-ordinator

I spent my career in theatre and TV, working as an actor in London's West End, before moving back to the North West in 2002 where I became Musical Director of Centre Stage Youth Theatre. I love working with the residents and families here at Sharston, helping to create a warm and loving environment. Outside of work I love walking my four fabulous dogs and working with young people on repertoire and audition technique for Musical Theatre auditions.

Douglas Hemlin

Head Chef

I have worked as Head Chef here at Sharston House for the past six years. I worked for the Hilton Group of hotels across the world, and was Executive Chef at the Sea World Resort in Australia for many years. I love chatting with the residents and have great pride in the service I provide here at Sharston House. I enjoy horse racing and am an avid reader alongside a passion for the interior design of my home.

Pauline Parker-Moore

Regional Operations Manager

I have been a qualified nurse for over 40 years and have worked in the care sector for 24 years. Since joining Kingsley in 2018 I have been privileged to work in various management roles including Home Manager, Operations Manager and my current role as Regional Operations Director. I am proud of the progress we have made across the North West region. We have major plans to extend two of our existing homes. It is a pleasure to work with the team to deliver quality care and provide luxury care homes for our residents. Outside of work I love travelling, especially going on cruises.

Kean Mason-Buckley

Operations Manager

I have worked in the care sector for over 25 years, starting as a support worker at the age of 17 and taking time out to do my nurse training in 2008. I have been in management roles since 2014, joining Kingsley in 2020 as a home manager and becoming a member of the operations team 20 months ago. What I love about Kingsley is that although it is a national company you still feel part of a community, connected to and supported by everyone. Outside work, to de-stress, I enjoy walking my dogs and playing video games.

Cyril Fomonyuy

Service Quality Manager

I have worked in the care sector for 22 years, starting as a Registered Nurse in my home country of Cameroon. I joined Kingsley in 2016 as a registered home manager and subsequently progressed to Service Quality Manager. I love the culture at Kingsley which invests in and empowers its staff and supports career progression. Outside work, I am an author and write and do research about leadership and management.
