COVID-19 update

The UK remains in the containment phase of tracing coronavirus cases to prevent it spreading in the community. Kingsley Healthcare are committed to ensuring that we keep all our residents and staff as safe as possible and as a preventative measure visits from the local community and external entertainment are now cancelled for the foreseeable future. We are also cancelling any non-essential training sessions and all upcoming events e.g. Easter Egg Hunts.    As this stage we are not restricting family members and friends of residents from visiting our homes but we will be sure that only those who are not displaying symptoms come in, and that they wash their hands on entering. We encourage everyone to be extra-vigilant.    Our staff will do all they can to ensure that life in our homes remains as comfortable and sociable as possible. We will still ensure that vital medical visits are made.    We would really appreciate your support with these measures, and please be reassured that we are closely following and complying with the Public Health authorities to ensure that we keep our residents safe, and that our staff are supported to continue to deliver great care.  Should the situation change we will inform you accordingly.    If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your Home Manager, or email    For and on behalf of the COVID-19 Committee Sarah Ferguson, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR,  11th March 2020
