Spring Lodge Care Home created a dignity rainbow

springlodge dgd 6 2021

Our amazing team at Spring Lodge Care Home created a dignity rainbow yesterday in honour of Dignity Action Day, a day for us all to pledge our responsibility to ensure that dignity remains at the heart of care.

Staff thought about what dignity meant to them and then added their commitments to the rainbow. In the afternoon, a residents meeting was held to discuss dignity.
Residents decided these were among the most important; being helped to be well presented, respecting their wishes, being listened to, and feeling safe.

At Kingsley Healthcare Group, our ethos is built on person-centred care, care which is based on respect, communication and treating each resident as a unique individual. Whether it is having a chat with a cup of tea, or providing support with daily tasks, you can rest assured that our residents are treated like our own family members.
