My name is Lauren Mackie and I am Redwalls Home manager, before joining Redwalls Nursing Home I had extensive experience in Mental Health working as a clinical lead, team leader, clinical service manager and deputy hospital manager. I have worked in various secure settings and I am qualified in British Sign Language (BSL). Redwalls to me is a breath of fresh air within my nursing career. The home, organisation, residents and staff have made an impact on me as a nurse to improve my dedication to improving care and well-being for the residents and the staffing team. I aim for the home to remain patient-centred in every approach, capturing memories with our residents' loved ones and being part of the extended family as we should be, following our key values “Let our family take care of yours”. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and friends, making memories travelling to new places, alongside caring for my two dogs.

With over 10 years of nursing experience, she specializes in caring for elderly frail residents. As the Deputy Home Manager at Kingsley Healthcare, her passion lies in enhancing the quality of life and nursing care for residents.

Helena Stenson
Hospitality Manager
Before joining Redwalls Nursing Home I worked in customer-facing roles throughout my working life, mostly in retail, and I achieved the position of manager in a major supermarket. My role at Redwalls is very important to me and I take great pride in working as part of the team that strives to bring the best practice in care and the environment for our residents and families. I support the residents daily, welcoming new residents and their families to the home and promoting events that put the home at the heart of the local community. In my spare time, I enjoy all crafts, walking my dogs and spending time with my loved ones.

Jill Saunders
Home Administrator
Prior to joining Redwalls I had over 25 years’ experience in various office environments. At Redwalls I feel appreciated and very much part of the team. We are all passionate about our roles within the home, we care for all the residents and I can truly say we are one big family. I manage all aspects of administration, including purchasing, invoicing, recruitment and payroll. In my leisure time away from work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, I am a big animal lover and have several chickens, guinea pigs, canaries and a cockatiel. I am big on family adventures which includes nature walks and love a good book.

Activities & Lifestyle Co-ordinator
My Name Is Sara and I am an activities co-ordinator at Redwalls Nursing Home. Prior to Joining Redwalls, I was a teaching assistant for many years. Since becoming part of the Redwalls Nursing Home family, I have learned that a rich and varied activities programme improves both the mental and physical well-being of all our residents. I feel the team and myself are caring, compassionate and enthusiastic. During my spare time from work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, I enjoy long walks and cycling bringing my dog Poppy along for the ride.

Sharon Johnson
Head Chef
Before joining Redwalls Nursing Home I lived in the USA where I was the general manager of several restaurant chains. I had the honour of cooking for President Obama and President Biden during this time. Redwalls to me is home away from home, every resident is a part of our extended family, I take pride in learning what our residents like / dislike are and try my best, to make each mealtime experience as person-centred as possible. I believe the team and I go above and beyond to provide fresh meal choices, including any modified diets to make sure the residents are receiving the food that they enjoy. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my loves ones and friends, I also enjoy going for walks with my dog, watching football and travelling.

Pauline Parker-Moore
Regional Operations Manager
I have been a qualified nurse for over 40 years and have worked in the care sector for 24 years. Since joining Kingsley in 2018 I have been privileged to work in various management roles including Home Manager, Operations Manager and my current role as Regional Operations Director. I am proud of the progress we have made across the North West region. We have major plans to extend two of our existing homes. It is a pleasure to work with the team to deliver quality care and provide luxury care homes for our residents. Outside of work I love travelling, especially going on cruises.

Kean Mason-Buckley
Operations Manager
I have worked in the care sector for over 25 years, starting as a support worker at the age of 17 and taking time out to do my nurse training in 2008. I have been in management roles since 2014, joining Kingsley in 2020 as a home manager and becoming a member of the operations team 20 months ago. What I love about Kingsley is that although it is a national company you still feel part of a community, connected to and supported by everyone. Outside work, to de-stress, I enjoy walking my dogs and playing video games.

Service Quality Manager
I have worked in the care sector for 22 years, starting as a Registered Nurse in my home country of Cameroon. I joined Kingsley in 2016 as a registered home manager and subsequently progressed to Service Quality Manager. I love the culture at Kingsley which invests in and empowers its staff and supports career progression. Outside work, I am an author and write and do research about leadership and management.
