A big welcome to Brackley Care Home’s new manager

Sharon Wassing brings an impressive track record and more than 10 years of experience in home management to her new role.
 
She has come to Brackley from Launton Grange Care Home, in nearby Bicester, which was inspected by the CQC one week after her departure and given an overall good rating with outstanding for caring.
 
Sharon worked in banking and property management for several years before a spell nursing her mother Thelma at home through her final illness opened her eyes to the rewards of working in care.
 
Starting out as a care home business manager, her first job as home manager came in 2011.
 
She said: “My aim is to always make people feel as comfortable as if they were still in their own home.”
