Kingsley Healthcare is rated a top 10 social care company to work for in the UK
We are delighted to announce that Kingsley Healthcare has been rated among the top 10 best social care companies to work for in the UK.*
Employee review platform Breakroom surveyed its membership of nearly 450,000 shift workers to find the best and worst employers in the country. The survey ranks Kingsley in the top 10 of good employers out of more than 100 social care companies.
Kingsley employees highlighted the company's commitment to the Real Living Wage and appreciation of their service as key factors in improving job satisfaction. They also welcomed the fact they had paid breaks, flexible shifts and convenient holiday bookings. Group People Director Lisa Lock said: “Kingsley Healthcare is a family run company and we are passionate about shaping a care service that is fit for the future. We are thrilled that our staff feel that they can connect with us and are happy to work with an organisation that cares about them. Kingsley Healthcare is dedicated to helping staff reach their career goals through our Kingsley Training Academy. We also have a bespoke management development programme that is open to all staff as part of their career growth plan."
“We are delighted that we have been able to reward our staff by becoming a Real Living Wage employer in April last year."
The survey reflects what we already knew that staff love the company and its ethos and enjoy their jobs.”
Kingsley CEO Daya Thayan, who was ranked by Glassdoor among the UK’s top 10 CEOs for his leadership during the pandemic, said: “Our mission as a family business has always been to support staff in any way we can. We are led by our values of kindness, empathy, compassion and teamwork.
“Taking care of our staff so well creates the right culture for excellent customer service and I am immensely proud of Kingsley’s achievement in being ranked a top 20 large UK care group by the review site carehome.co.uk.”
