Kingsley responds a second time to Ukrainian aid effort
A second vanload of aid for Ukrainian refugees has been loaded at Kingsley Healthcare’s head office, Kingsley House, in Clapham Road South, Lowestoft.
The company has been supporting local volunteers Mark and Susan Mitchell who have been collecting in the town for a charity mission led by members of a Ukrainian church in Peterborough.
Kingsley’s regional operations director Georgina Johnston said: “The first time we provided medical supplies; this time we donated a variety of basic food supplies, including protein bars, flour, rice, pasta, coffee and peanut butter.”
Georgina, who has been coordinating Kingsley’s response with her wife Jane, paid the cost of the van hire and fuel herself.
